Happy Spay/ Neuter Awareness Month! Every February, the importance of raising awareness of Spay and Neuter can save so many pets' lives.
Every year, millions of dogs and cats are left at animal shelters throughout the U.S and roughly half of those are euthanized because there simply aren’t enough loving homes to take them. The cause of this is overpopulation.
Celebrating World Spay Day promotes the importance of birth control for animals and pushes for owners to have their dog or cat spayed/neutered.
How can you participate?
Get your dog or cat neutered! When you have a pet, you don’t need to worry about them having more babies when you want another pet. You can simply adopt!
